Running the client API software
If you have trouble getting the client API software to run or connect:
> Windows may have ‘blocked’ it because you downloaded it from the internet. In Windows Explorer > right-click the zip file > Properties > Unblock, and then extract the entire contents to a folder and run from there.
> There can be problems if you try to run the API from a shared drive or a mapped network drive. You may want to try putting it on a PC or server and running it from there.
> You may need admin privileges. Your IT department may be able to set the client API to run as a task, using Microsoft Task Scheduler, from an account with sufficient admin privileges.
> Your Microsoft .NET software may be out of date. You need .NET Framework 4.0 or later and should install all updates.Return
